CAI Managed IT's Desktop & User Care Service protects your network-connected ‘end points’ (desktops, laptops and tablets) against viruses, malware, e-mail and image spam and mechanical failure. The service also helps you resolve day-to-day desktop computer issues (i.e., e-mail won’t work, an employee can’t print, an application like Microsoft Word has crashed). The service provides additional ‘end-point’ security through automatic anti-virus and Microsoft Windows operating system patch management on each desktop computer connected to the network.

The proactive Desktop & User Care Service provides comprehensive preventative maintenance services remotely. This solution is comprised of: a desktop/laptop agent within the CAI's technology platform with all of the intelligence built-in to conduct day-to-day preventive maintenance services, a bundled managed antivirus package, and remote access.

The Desktop & User Care Service protects all of your network-connected ‘end points’ (desktops, laptops and tablets) against viruses, malware, e-mail and image spam and mechanical failure. We'll help resolve day-to-day desktop computer issues (i.e., e-mail won’t work, an employee can’t print, an application like Microsoft Word has crashed) and provide additional ‘end-point’ security through automatic anti-virus and Microsoft Windows operating system patch management on each desktop computer connected to the network.

  • Automated 24x7 desktop monitoring (i.e., Event ID, Performance, SMART Status) and alerts notification by our Smithfield, RI-based Network Operations Center (NOC)
  • Standard anti-virus (with anti-virus definition monitoring) and anti-spyware protection
  • Microsoft® Windows® OS updates and security patch management
  • User Visibility Console, including remote users Asset and inventory scans
  • Monthly Status Reporting 24x7 remote troubleshooting and remediation by CAI’s Smithfield, RI-based Help Desk

We'll provide your IT team with detailed inventory reports and configurations related to all the preventive maintenance activities conducted through our Network Operations Center (NOC).
